 Country Haven was pleased to have been chosen by New Brunswick Provincial Tourism as the fishing location for filming the Travel Planner, Television Commercials and Tourism Web Site for the 2007 Campaign.
(Note: Our Day Adventures can be enjoyed by everyone staying at Country Haven or vacationers visiting NB for the day who would like some outdoor activities!

Country Haven Miramichi is a Licensed 4 Star fully-fledged Outfitter and is one of the Premier locations on the Miramichi for Atlantic Salmon Fly Fishing. Due to our being close to the sea and our excellent location on the river, there is ample opportunity for catching salmon throughout all of the fishing season. This has helped in making our fishing day adventures so successful for so many years. 2024 will be our 25th anniversary of offering these special day fishing packages in conjunction with New Brunswick Tourism, making Country Haven the longest running Day Adventure provider in the Province.

    This is our 15th season offering this day adventure in conjunction with New Brunswick Tourism. It has become one of the most popular day adventures in all of New Brunswick with guests returning year after year to participate. This adventure is a full day of canoeing on the most productive summer fishing stretch of water on the Main Southwest Miramichi river. You start your adventure at Country Haven Lodge with stops to fish for Atlantic Salmon along the way. You will be visiting some of the best fishing pools the Miramichi River has to offer. With the same guides doing this trip almost daily for so many years they now know these waters like the back of their hand. Throughout the day you will travel 8 miles of the lower Miramichi river's natural beauty and will fish in 4 to 7 fishing pools along the way.

    - 4 Hr Guided side by side ATV wilderness tours where you have a good chance to encounter Moose, Deer and other species of wildlife. Tour departs from Country Haven.

    - Tubing - While staying at Country Haven you are just minutes from Miramichi River Tubing and Vickers Tubing, two great locations to enjoy tubing at its very best.
    - Trail Rides We are located only minutes from Saddle Tramp Stables where you can enjoy daily Trail Rides along the Miramichi River Valley.
